Beetroot Amla Juice

Beetroot Amla Juice is a vibrant and refreshing drink packed with nutrients. This juice combines the earthy sweetness of beetroot, the tangy zing of amla (Indian gooseberry), and the cooling freshness of cucumber. Enhanced with a hint of ginger and lemon, it’s both flavorful and nourishing. Ideal for a revitalizing start to your day or as a refreshing afternoon pick-me-up.
For a Serving Size of Two:
Ingredients:
- 150 grams beetroot, peeled and chopped
- 50 grams amla (Indian gooseberry), deseeded and chopped
- 1 small cucumber, peeled and chopped
- 1-inch piece of ginger, peeled
- 1/2 lemon, juiced
- 200 ml water
- A pinch of salt
Procedure:
- Peel and chop the beetroot, amla, cucumber, and ginger.
- Add the chopped beetroot, amla, cucumber, and ginger to a blender. Pour in the water.
- Blend until smooth. You may need to stop and stir the mixture a few times to ensure everything is well blended.
- Strain the mixture through a fine mesh sieve or cheesecloth into a bowl or jug to remove the pulp. Press down on the solids to extract as much juice as possible.
- Stir in the lemon juice and a pinch of salt. Pour the juice into glasses and serve immediately.
