Coconut Milk Oats Porridge

For a Serving Size of Two:

Ingredients:

  • 20 grams rolled oats
  • 200 ml coconut milk
  • 200 ml water
  • 2 medium sized sliced banana
  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds
  • 50 grams (7 – 8 pieces) strawberries
  • 10 grams almonds
  • 10 grams walnuts
  • 1 inch cinnamon stick
  • Pinch of Salt

Procedure: 

  • In a medium saucepan, combine  rolled oats, coconut milk, and water.
  • Bring the mixture to a boil over medium heat. Reduce the heat to low and let it simmer, stirring occasionally, for about 5-7 minutes or until the oats are soft and the porridge reaches your desired consistency.
  • Add a pinch of salt and stir well to combine.
  • Divide the porridge into two bowls.
  • Top with sliced banana, fresh berries, chia seeds, and nuts.
  • Serve warm and enjoy!
