Anger, frustration, fear, anxiety and many other “emotions” are all a great part of human life. Emotional health should never be avoided or ignored as it can bring mental illness as well. Experiencing such emotions is really healthy and it brings a new aspect towards living.
A key to a happy and healthy life is managing and embracing the mental health without denying them and we bring you several reasons for this.
Embracing emotional health can:

Managing negative emotions
When it comes to emotion, negative feelings can make their way in your life and managing such type of emotions is a bit of complex task. Negative emotions are not a bad thing and avoiding them is never a good option. Accepting and dealing with such emotions can save your life by not creating any wreak havoc. We have some of the best strategies that can help you in managing negative emotions and feelings. One such great strategy is “Tears of hope”. Here is what it says:
- T – Teach and learn. This is the basic step to increase self-awareness and creating knowledge about your body and mind.
- E – Express and enable sensory and embodied experiences (Encourage openness within yourself and try to accept whatsoever is going on).
- A – Accept and befriend (Actively focus on what’s going on and be a friend to your problems by accepting it).
- R – Re-appraise and re-frame (Change your behaviour towards things).
- S – Social support. (Expand your connections and feelings to others).

- O – Observe and attend to (Try to practice mindful activities to observe things in life).
- P – Physiology and behavioural changes (Focus more on relaxation, meditations, exercises and self-care).

When we listen to the word emotional health, we often make bubbles of thoughts in our head about mental illness. But both of the terms are two separate ends of a spectrum. Just reframe your bubbly thoughts and notice the change in a new you.
