The human body is made up of five major elements- Earth(Prithvi), Water(Jal), Fire(Agni), Air(Vayu) and Aether(Aakash), which are witnessed by sense organs present inside our body. To keep them intact, we need vitamins, minerals, water, and oxygen. For a wholesome living, it is crucial to find a balance between the elements of mind, body and soul. If you understand the 5 pillars of well-being and carry it in your mind and habits all along, you will have a healthy and fulfilling life.

In today’s day and age, every individual predominantly has a sedentary lifestyle, which further creates havoc on your system. Practising mindfulness either by yoga, or meditation can really help ease out the cluster of thoughts and make this essential pillar of your life better.

  • Exercise is not just about being fit or having those six-pack abs. It is more about strengthening the functioning of your vital organs, such as the heart, increasing the absorption of nutrients, and eliminating waste out of your body through sweat. You can do some yoga every day in the morning, go for a walk or run, play a sport, dance, or opt for strength training. Your body is like a machine, the more it is kept active, the longer and better it lives.
