Zucchini Flakes are a light and crispy snack made from thinly sliced zucchini seasoned with olive oil, sea salt, black pepper, and garlic powder. Slowly baked until crisp, these flakes make for a delightful and healthy alternative to regular chips.
For a Serving Size of Two:
Ingredients:
- 200 grams zucchini
- 1 teaspoon olive oil
- 1/4 teaspoon sea salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
Procedure:
- Preheat your oven to 110°C (230°F) to dry out the zucchini.
- Wash the zucchini and slice it very thinly. In a bowl, toss the zucchini slices with olive oil, salt, pepper, and garlic powder until evenly coated.
- Place the slices in a single layer on a baking tray lined with parchment paper.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 1.5-2 hours, or until the slices are completely dried and crispy. Flip the slices halfway through the baking time for even drying.
- Let the zucchini flakes cool completely, then store in an airtight container. Enjoy as a healthy snack or as a crunchy topping for salads and soups.
