Avocado Toast

This Avocado Toast is a delicious, nutritious, and quick meal perfect for breakfast or a snack. The creamy avocado and the slight tang of lemon make it flavorful, with optional chili flakes adding a hint of spice.

For a Serving Size of Two:

Ingredients:

  • 2 slices whole-grain or sourdough bread
  • 1 ripe avocado (about 120 grams)
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • Salt, to taste
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon chili flakes
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh herbs

Procedure:

  1. Toast the bread slices until golden and crispy.
  2. In a bowl, mash the avocado with a fork. Add lemon juice, salt, black pepper, and chili flakes, mixing well.
  3.  Spread the avocado mixture evenly onto each slice of toasted bread.
  4. Sprinkle with fresh herbs if desired, and serve immediately.
