Chilli Garlic Roasted Cauliflower

Chili Garlic Roasted Cauliflower is a flavorful and spicy dish that combines the natural sweetness of roasted cauliflower with the heat of chili flakes and the depth of garlic. This crispy, golden dish is easy to prepare and makes a healthy and satisfying side or snack.

For a Serving Size of Two:

Ingredients:

  • 300 grams cauliflower florets
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp chili flakes (adjust to taste)
  • 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1/2 tsp cumin powder
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • Fresh parsley or cilantro for garnish (optional)

Procedure:

  1. Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 200°C (400°F) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Prepare the Cauliflower: In a large bowl, toss the cauliflower florets with olive oil, minced garlic, chili flakes, smoked paprika, cumin, salt, and black pepper. Make sure the florets are evenly coated with the spice mixture.
  3. Roast: Spread the cauliflower florets in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet. Roast in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the cauliflower is golden brown and crispy around the edges, stirring halfway through.
  4. Finish with Lemon: Once the cauliflower is roasted, remove it from the oven and drizzle with fresh lemon juice.
