This Chocolate Avocado Pudding is a rich and creamy dessert that satisfies your chocolate cravings while being packed with healthy ingredients. The combination of ripe avocado and cocoa powder creates a smooth, indulgent texture without the need for refined sugars. Naturally sweetened with banana, this pudding is a deliciously nutritious treat that can be enjoyed guilt-free.
For a Serving Size of Two:
Ingredients:
- 200 grams ripe avocado
- 2 teaspoons unsweetened cocoa powder
- 50 grams mashed ripe banana
- 30 ml milk
- 1 tablespoon nut butter (e.g., almond or peanut butter, homemade)
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 teaspoons chopped dark chocolate (70% cacao or higher, for garnish)
Procedure:
- In a blender or food processor, combine the ripe avocado, cocoa powder, mashed banana, almond milk, nut butter and vanilla extract.
- Blend until smooth and creamy, scraping down the sides as necessary to ensure everything is well combined.
- Taste and adjust the sweetness if needed by adding more mashed banana or a bit more cocoa powder for richness.
- Once blended to a creamy consistency, transfer the pudding to serving bowls and chill in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes.
- Before serving, top with chopped dark chocolate for added texture and flavor.
