Mushroom Stir Fry

Mushroom Stir Fry is a quick and vibrant dish that combines the earthy flavors of mushrooms with the crispness of bell peppers, onions, and carrots. Sautéed with fragrant garlic and ginger, this stir fry is seasoned with black pepper, red chili flakes, and sesame seeds for an added crunch.Ideal as a snack or a side, this stir fry pairs beautifully with cooked rice or noodles, making it a versatile and delicious option for any meal.

For a Serving Size of Two:

Ingredients:

  • 200 grams mushrooms, sliced
  • 2 teaspoons olive oil
  • 50 grams sliced bell peppers
  • 50 grams sliced onion
  • 50 grams julienned carrot
  • 2-3 cloves minced garlic
  • 1 teaspoon sesame seeds
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon red chili flakes
  • 1 teaspoon minced ginger
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh coriander or green onions for garnish

Procedure:

  • Clean and slice the mushrooms. Slice the bell pepper and onion, and julienne the carrot. Heat the olive oil in a large pan or wok over medium-high heat.
  • Add the minced garlic and ginger to the pan. Sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  • Add the sliced mushrooms, bell pepper, onion, and carrot to the pan.
    Stir-fry the vegetables for 5-7 minutes until they are tender but still crisp.
  • Add black pepper, red chili flakes, and salt to taste.
    Sprinkle sesame seeds on top if desired. Garnish with chopped fresh cilantro or green onions.
  • Serve hot as a snack or over cooked rice or noodles.
