Cauliflower Pizza Crust

Cauliflower Pizza Crust comes out crispy, you can hold the slice and use frozen cauliflower or cauliflower rice to make it. It is a Tasty, low carb and the best recipe for weight management without compromising the taste buds.In general, cauliflower is very nutritious. It’s low in calories, yet contains just about every vitamin and mineral a person needs.
For a Serving Size of Two:
Ingredients:
- 200 grams cauliflower
- 50 grams crumbled feta cheese
- 30 grams almond flour
- 1 large egg
- 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1/2 teaspoon dried basil
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Procedure:
- Cut the cauliflower into florets. Steam or microwave the florets until tender, about 8-10 minutes. Let them cool slightly.
- Transfer the cooked cauliflower to a food processor. Pulse until it reaches a rice-like texture. You can also use a cheesecloth or a clean kitchen towel to squeeze out excess moisture from the cauliflower rice.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the cauliflower rice, shredded mozzarella cheese, almond flour, egg, dried oregano, dried basil, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix well until all ingredients are evenly incorporated.
- Preheat your oven to 220°C (425°F). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Transfer the cauliflower mixture to the prepared baking sheet. Spread it out into a round or rectangular shape, about 1/4 inch thick. Press it down firmly to ensure it holds together.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown and the crust is firm.
- Remove the crust from the oven. Add your favorite pizza toppings and return to the oven for an additional 5-10 minutes, or until the toppings are cooked and bubbly.
- Let the pizza cool for a few minutes before slicing. Enjoy your healthy cauliflower pizza!
