Iced Jaljeera Recipe

Iced Jaljeera is a zesty and refreshing Indian beverage that combines the tanginess of lemon with the cooling properties of mint and coriander. This drink is perfect for hot days and acts as a great digestive aid.
For a Serving Size of Two:
Ingredients:
- 15 grams mint leaves
- 15 grams fresh coriander leaves
- 1/2 teaspoon roasted cumin powder
- 1/2 teaspoon black salt
- 1/4 teaspoon chaat masala
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 500 ml cold water
- 1 tablespoon jaggery powder
- Ice cubes (as needed)
Procedure:
- In a blender, combine the mint leaves, coriander leaves, roasted cumin powder, black salt, chaat masala, and lemon juice. Add a splash of water and blend until smooth.
- In a jug, add the cold water and the mint-coriander paste. Stir well to combine.
- If you like it sweeter, add jaggery powder and stir until dissolved. Adjust the sweetness according to your taste.
- Fill glasses with ice cubes and pour the jaljeera mixture over the ice. Garnish with extra mint leaves or a slice of lemon if desired.
- Serve immediately as a refreshing summer drink.
