Sabudana Tikki

These Sabudana Vadas are a delicious and crispy treat perfect for fasting days. Air-fried to golden perfection, they offer a healthier alternative to deep-frying while maintaining a satisfying texture.
For a Serving Size of Two:
Ingredients:
- 60 grams soaked sago/ sabudana
- 100 grams boiled sweet potato
- 20 grams amaranth flour
- 1 tablespoon crushed peanuts
- 1 tablespoon ghee
- 2 chopped green chillis
- Sendha Namak as per taste
- Spices as required
Procedure:
- In a bowl, add boiled sweet potatoes and mash them well. Add soaked and fluffy sago balls, red chili powder, coriander leaves, crushed peanuts, and sendha namak.
- In the last, add the amaranth flour as a binding agent.
- Mix them all and prepare like a dough. Make small tikkis out of it.
- Preheat the air-fryer for about 10 mins at 390 degree F. When done, pull out the air fryer basket and line it with baking paper.
- Arrange the tikkis on the air-fryer lined with baking paper and brush them with a little oil if you like (optional) and air-fry for 10 mins, flip them, and repeat the process for another 10 mins.
- Serve them with coriander chutney or just yogurt.
