These Almond Crackers are a crunchy and nutritious snack, perfect for pairing with dips, cheese, or enjoying on their own. Made with almond flour and a touch of whole wheat flour, these crackers have a delightful nutty flavor and a crispy texture. The recipe is simple, requiring just a few ingredients and minimal prep time.

For a Serving Size of Two:

Ingredients:

  • 60 grams almond flour
  • 20 grams whole wheat flour
  • 2 teaspoons olive oil
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon dried herbs (e.g., rosemary, thyme)
  • 1 tablespoon water (if needed to bring dough together)

Procedure:

  • Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • In a bowl, mix almond flour, whole wheat flour, salt, baking powder, garlic powder, and dried herbs. Add olive oil and mix until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  • If the mixture is too dry, add water, a little at a time, until the dough comes together.
  • Place the dough between two sheets of parchment paper and roll out to about 1/8 inch thickness. Remove the top layer of parchment paper.
  • Use a knife or a pizza cutter to cut the dough into desired cracker shapes.
  • Transfer the parchment paper with the cut dough onto the baking sheet. Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the crackers are golden and crisp.
  • Allow the crackers to cool completely on a wire rack before serving.
