Oats Egg Omelette

This Oats Flour, Veggie and Egg Omelette is a delicious and savoury breakfast option, perfect for starting your day on a healthy note. Whisked together with chopped onions, tomatoes, and creamy avocado, the mixture is cooked to perfection in a skillet, creating a fluffy and flavourful omelette.

For a Serving Size of Two:

Ingredients:

  • 2 whole eggs
  • 30 grams oats flour
  • 1 tablespoon milk
  • 15 grams chopped onion
  • 15 grams chopped tomato
  • 15 grams avocado 
  • Salt as per taste
  • A pinch of turmeric
  • Black pepper and oregano as per taste
  • 1 teaspoon oil

Procedure:

  • Start by taking a medium bowl, whisk together all the ingredients.
  • Heat a skillet and add some oil, pour some of the mixtures over it and toss to cook. 
  • Serve with mint chutney and could also be stuffed between a multigrain roti or a sourdough bread!
