Mango Overnight Oats

Mango Overnight Oats is a creamy, tropical breakfast that’s both nutritious and easy to prepare. The oats are soaked in milk overnight, absorbing all the flavors and softening to a perfect consistency. With the sweetness of ripe mango, the crunch of nuts, and a hint of cinnamon, this dish offers a delightful start to your day. It’s a quick and healthy option for busy mornings, packed with fiber, vitamins, and healthy fats.
For a Serving Size of Two:
Ingredients:
- 60 grams rolled oats
- 150 ml milk
- 1/2 medium diced mango
- 1 tablespoon chia seeds
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1 tablespoon chopped nuts like almonds or cashews
Procedure:
- In a jar or bowl, combine the rolled oats, almond milk, chia seeds, and ground cinnamon. Stir well to ensure everything is evenly mixed.
- Dice the ripe mango and gently fold half of it into the oats mixture. Save the other half to use as a topping the next morning.
- Cover the jar or bowl and refrigerate overnight, or for at least 4 hours, to allow the oats and chia seeds to absorb the liquid and soften.
- In the morning, give the oats a good stir.
Top with the remaining diced mango and chopped nuts if using.
