Herbed Cucumber Slices are a refreshing and flavorful dish featuring thinly sliced cucumber seasoned with a blend of herbs and spices. This easy-to-make recipe is perfect as a light snack or a cool side dish.
For a Serving Size of Two:
Ingredients:
- 1 large cucumber
- 1 teaspoon extra-virgin olive oil
- 1 teaspoon dried herbs (e.g., dill, oregano, or thyme)
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh herbs for garnish
Procedure:
- Wash and peel the cucumber if desired. Slice it into thin rounds (about 1/4 inch thick). In a small bowl, mix the olive oil, dried herbs, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
- Place the cucumber slices in a large bowl and toss them gently with the seasoned olive oil mixture until evenly coated.
