Mango Iced Tea

Mango Iced Tea is a delightful and refreshing drink that blends the robust flavors of black tea with the tropical sweetness of ripe mangoes. This iced tea is perfect for hot days, offering a cool, fruity twist on traditional iced tea. The addition of lime juice adds a zesty brightness, making it an invigorating choice for gatherings or a relaxing afternoon.

For a Serving Size of Two:

Ingredients:

  • 500 ml water
  • 2 black tea bags
  • 100 grams peeled and diced ripe mango
  • 2 tablespoons lime juice
  • Ice cubes
  • Fresh mint leaves

Procedure:

  • Boil the water in a saucepan. Remove from heat and add the tea bags. Let steep for 5-7 minutes. Remove the tea bags and let the tea cool.
  • In a blender, combine the diced mango and lime juice. Blend until smooth.
    In a pitcher, mix the cooled tea and mango puree.
  • Fill glasses with ice cubes and pour the mango iced tea over the ice. Garnish with fresh mint leaves.
