Gud Lassi

Lassi is a popular, delicious probiotic treat from India. In this scorching hot summers, lassi can be one of the most popular refreshing ways to beat this heat. This curd- based drink is super healthy and very easy to make with aromatic spices and can be either sweet or savory. Here, we come up with the ever famous summer drink of India- lassi with jaggery, almonds, and pistachios to add an extra punch. I bet you will sip it down to the last drop.
For a Serving Size of Two:
Ingredients:
- 200 grams plain yogurt
- 3 tablespoons grams jaggery (gud), grated or powdered
- 130 ml water
- 1/2 teaspoon cardamom powder
- A pinch of salt
- Ice cubes
- 1 tablespoon chopped nuts
Procedure:
- In a blender, combine the yogurt, grated jaggery, water, cardamom powder, and a pinch of salt. Blend until smooth and well combined.
- Check the consistency; add more water if you prefer a thinner lassi. Blend again if necessary.
- Pour the gud lassi into glasses, add ice cubes if desired, and garnish with chopped nuts.
