You could be an excellent cook but a terrible baker.
Here are some tips and tricks for people who too lazy to bake but still want homemade baked treats. These tips can enhance your baking technique, equipping you to become a better baker.
- While baking cookies, chill or freeze the dough so that cookies can hold the shape and edges. This way you can achieve the ideal batch of crunchy cookies that you have been craving.
- Measure every item that goes into the bowl. Achieving the perfect consistency is important in order to bake a moist vanilla cake or crunchy cookies. Every ingredient that goes into the batter should be measured using a measuring cup.
- Use one dough for many purposes. Rather than making the same dough, again and again, use the same dough for multiple cookies. The dough can be transformed according to your requirements.
- If you are too lazy to bake on your own, redecorate the cakes and cookies that you got from the supermarket. Design them and add your preferred ingredients to make it taste better.
- Avoiding melting chocolate on the gas stove. Instead, place the chocolate chunks in the microwave for 15 to 20 seconds and you will get the perfect melted chocolate without the burnt smell or taste.
- Dip your cookies in melted chocolate rather than frosting them. The frosting is time consuming and why frost when melted chocolate can do the job? Dip half of the cookie into the chocolate and freeze it for some time.
- Try single bowl recipes. These recipes are easy and demand less time and effort. Instead of using multiple containers, you mix all the ingredients in one bowl.
- Buy readymade batter. These products contain all the dry ingredients that have already been sieved and mixed. You just have to the liquid ingredients such as milk and butter. They are easy to cook and the taste is decent.
