Do you often feel insulted and become hard on yourself when you notice a flaw or make a mistake? The problem is self-love! Self-love is more than just how good you are about yourself or being assured in what you wear and eat. It involves a deep connection with yourself and how truly you accept yourself as you are!   • Treat yourself as you wanted to be treated: Stand in front of the mirror and try to compliment yourself while reciting positive statements and assertions. Repeat this number of times until you achieve a state of positivity. The more you practice this each day, your mindset will get clear and with the time you will start feeling affection towards yourself while trusting your abilities.
  • Say hello to healthy boundaries: To cultivate positive attitude and self-love in your life- initiate with setting boundaries that involve saying “no” to such activities that screw you and generate stress or unhappiness and can harm your life. Sometimes taking a break from certain people or commitment gives you time to cut down the things that harm you.
  • Forgive yourself: Learn from your past mistakes instead of punishing yourself and view it as a lesson and opportunity for growth and change. Practice self-talk and let go of your past and release all your emotions and negativities and forgive yourself.
  • Practice self-care: Stay committed to healthy activities such as having a diet full of nutrients, do regular exercise, get an adequate amount of sleep and do involve in healthy social interactions.
