Planning for your D-day and the shopping spree can leave you feeling overwhelmed and exhausted to a point that you might think of having an icy cold soda beverage, ruining your constant efforts of losing and maintaining weight. But wait, how about a beverage that you can not only enjoy guilt-free but also help your body to detoxify further? Watermelon and basil.
In a jar full of drinking water, add one cup cubed watermelon, and a handful of scrambled basil leaves. Let it infuse for at least 5 hours in the refrigerator, later to which, fill up your bottle with it. Sip this naturally sweet beverage while out and about on a shopping spree and benefit from it’s soothing and refreshing properties.
Grapes and oranges.

Cherry and lime.
Add ¼ cup cherries pitted and sliced in halves, 4 slices lime with its seeds removed, with peel, in 4 cups of water at room temperature. Again, let it infuse overnight and sip throughout the day. This is loaded with antioxidants and anti-inflammatory properties, and can also take care of your skin woes.
Apple and cinnamon.
Apples contain pectin that helps in removing heavy metals from your body, cinnamon helps in stabilizing the blood sugar levels, and water of course hydrates and improves the functioning of the organs of your body. Leaving the skin on, cut the apples in large chunks, fill in a jar of water, and add a stick of cinnamon to it. Let it sit overnight in the refrigerator. This will trick your sweet cravings and take care of them too.
