Exfoliate your Hands with these Simple Homemade Scrubs

Chances of finding ingredients which are good enough are more and that can be easily turned to awesome scrubs. Inexpensive and free from chemicals, these scrubs are awesome to provide all the moisture which your skin needs.
Why do you need exfoliation?
Skin sheds dead skin cells. The process of exfoliation removes those dead skin cells to make room for new cells. Exfoliation softens your skin, reduces the appearance of wrinkles and pores, detoxifies and improves complexion as well.
- Lemon-Sugar hand scrub
Sugar is a great choice for exfoliation. An absolutely basic scrub which takes hardly less than a minute to make can leave your skin soft and supple. Add a teaspoon each of white and brown sugar to a few drops of lemon. Lemon will help you in removing tan from the skin while sugar will help you exfoliate the skin. Lemon juice brightens the skin and helps remove odours from hands.
- Almond and honey scrub
Take a handful of almonds and grind to make a fine powder, add few drops of honey and few drops of milk to make it a smooth paste. This should be freshly prepared and applied immediately on skin and not stored. Almonds help in lightning of skin while honey and milk hydrate the skin. Honey heals the skin and is nature’s best kept beauty secret.
- Sugar and coconut oil scrub
One teaspoon each of sugar and coconut oil is mixed and applied on the hands. Leave for 5-6 minutes. Wash off with water. Store in an airtight container and preferably use within a week. Nice and creamy, this scrub is meant to make your hands feel nourished. Coconut oil provides quality moisture and softens the skin.
- Jojoba oil with sugar scrub
It will leave your hands scented with jojoba. Mix a few drops of jojoba oil and sugar, avoid making a runny paste of it. Perfect and natural, jojoba oil is an essential oil generally used in body scrubs and provides enough nourishment to hands. Sugar helps in exfoliation by helping you get rid of unwanted dead cells.
- Sea salt and coconut oil
This amazing exfoliating sea salt hand scrub is a great pampering session to yourself. Sea salt exfoliates dead skin, allowing smoother and healthier skin to grow. Coconut oil is deeply moisturising and hydrating. Pour one to two teaspoons of sea salt and few drops of coconut oil to make a paste and apply. Keep for 5 minutes and wash off.
