Knock Of Summers – Tips To Keep Your Body Energized And Fresh During Summer

When the refrigerator is full of ice, you know summer has arrived. First thing we do in summers is google maximum temperature which sometimes can ruin our plans. Who likes to go out in the dog days of summer unless it’s a compulsion? While some individuals make their trips to the beach to enjoy the sound of ocean waves, and refreshing drinks, some stay at home having the AC turned on. What is your way of cheering up?

Tips to feel fresh
You can always wake up feeling energized, don’t let the heat of summer ruin your day. Here are some tips to help you feel over the moon;

  • Water: – Staying hydrated in summers becomes crucial and still many of us don’t drink enough water. Our body can get dehydrated pretty easily in summers which ensues in further complications, aim for at least 3 liters of water a day. Experiment with your blender to make refreshing drinks like mocktails, virgin mojitos, smoothies, buttermilk, etc. Get yourself an attractive bottle that will motivate you to drink from it.
  • Exercise: – Working out in summers can be a bit messy as we sweat out more than usual which can make people think twice before entering the gym. You need not worry about sweating too much as it’s good for your body. Just enjoy the chilled shake after a nice session of workout.
  • Eat your water: – Eat fruits and vegetables which are high in water content. This couldn’t be the best way to keep yourself hydrated throughout the summers. Examples include; watermelon (93% water), cucumber (96% water), strawberry (92% water), etc. Enjoy the vitamins and minerals these fruits have to offer.
  • Wear comfort: – Feeling energized is not just about eating right and exercising, it certainly has a lot to do with the clothes you wear. Studies have proven that people feel elated when they are in comfortable clothes. Buy some loose t-shirts and loose pants to boost your mood.
  • Showers: – Taking daily showers becomes obvious in summers and is a great time to listen to your favorite songs. Feel the cold water rejuvenate every inch of your body as you start the shower. If possible, shower even twice to make the most out of summers.
