Monsoon brings refreshing and invigorating vibes and we all love and enjoy this season with crispy snacks and masala chai. But this season also brings skin and hair issues that are difficult to deal with. Due to the high humidity, our tresses become frizzy, dull and lifeless. So, why not try a DIY (Do-It-Yourself) and let your hair go from drab to fab with these relaxing homemade hair masks originating from natural ingredients. Banana, Almond oil & Argan Oil Hair mask: For beating out the dry, frizzy, brittle, and crunchy hair this mask is considered great and is the permanent solution to these four problems. Being a yummy fruit banana has the properties to smoothen, strengthen and soften out the hair while making it frizz-free. Almond oil (sweet almond oil) contains vitamin E, omega fatty acids, and magnesium which help in treating split ends and assists in stronger hair. Argan oil, which is lighter than some other oils, adds silky shine, smoothness, and good to prevent split ends.

To apply:

  • In a bowl mash one ripe banana to make it in a smooth and creamy consistency.
  • Then add half a tablespoon of almond and argan oil.
  • Mix all the ingredients to form a paste and apply to all your tresses of hair and wear a shower cap. Wait for half an hour and rinse fully. Afterward, shampoo and condition your hair thoroughly.

  • Leave it for at least thirty minutes and then rinse with a mild shampoo. For best results repeat this mask twice a week.
