7 TIPS TO MAINTAIN SKIN GLOW POST WEDDING

After months of prepping and pampering your skin to glow and look perfect on your big day, no bride would ever want to let it all go a complete waste especially when you know that as a new bride, all the eyes are going to be on you all the time. And also because you don’t want to look any less than a tip-top newlywed and make them roll their eyes in awe, don’t worry, we have got you covered to maintain that post-wedding glow.
- Exfoliate once in two weeks – With all the back-to-back events and tons of makeup that comes along, it gets necessary to exfoliate your skin with a gentle exfoliator. The wedding makeup has in all probability clogged your pores, at least to some extent. A good gentle scrub will unclog pores, help you in getting rid of dead skin cells and leave it squeaky-clean.
- Catch up on that beauty sleep – All the wedding madness has surely taken a toll on your sleep schedule. Sleep is the best solution to dull-looking skin. Get yourself an eye mask and make sure to get at least 7-8hrs of sound sleep.
- Take care of your hydration – One of the best tricks to keep your skin clean, fresh, and rejuvenated, plum is to drink more and more liquids, you can include coconut water, water, vegetable smoothies, herbal teas, yes include all of that. Drinking more liquids helps to eliminate toxins from the body which results in good-looking skin.

- Follow a basic skin care regime – Apart from the above mentioned things, its necessary to follow a basic skin care which can include facewash, toner, moisturizer, sunscreen as these will help avoid penetration of dirt into the skin and also keep the superficial layer of the skin clean and healthy. You can even try some homemade remedies like –
- Rubbing cucumber or papaya on skin
- Besan and curd pack
- Vitamin E capsules – one capsule of Vitamin E, squeeze out the oil and massage it on your face and neck. Leave for 10 mins and wash off.

- Go easy on make-up for a few days – After layering your face with loads of makeup throughout your wedding, it’s now time for you to give your skin a few days off from makeup.
