Meaning and significance of chakra
Manipura is related with the natural component of fire and is straightforwardly interconnected to your sense of inner self. The location of this chakra is around your navel. The basic meaning of the word “Manipura” means lustrous gem of the city.
The third chakra, also known as the solar plexus chakra represents our personal power. It governs our ego and self-esteem. The major goal of this chakra is to control our energy and motivate us for our goals. The chakra seeks to achieve a balance between feelings of inner peace, confidence and self-control. The solar plexus physically wires your spleen, stomach, liver and pancreas. An imbalance of the third chakra can cause feelings of insecurity and stomach issues (pains, ulcers, chronic indigestion and more).
Foods to feed it with: Bananas, pineapple, corns, lemons are more helpful. Whole grains like cereals, rice, oats, brown rice, flaxseeds, sunflower seeds and milk products like cheese and yogurt. Spices like turmeric, cumin seeds, and fennel also help spice up the chakra.
