Covid-19- India’s Recovery Rate Currently Stands At 98.12%

Covid-19 is a virus that affects the respiratory system the most and just spreads through the body very easily. This virus has surely taken over the quality and quantity of our life by giving us the life-threat. It is the biggest scare right now in the country, but with the number of recovery cases it might sound like a relief.
- As per the latest reports by the Union Ministry of Health, the daily positivity rate was at 2.07%. The weekly positivity rate at 1.37% remains less than 3% for the last 115 days now. About 66,254 cases have been recovered on thursday, the total recoveries being 4,19,77,238.
- 13,596 new cases were reported on the 18th of January, taking the active caseload to 1,89,694 which is the lowest in 221 days.
- With the administration of 12,05,162 vaccine doses in 24 hours, India’s cumulative COVID-19 vaccination coverage exceeds 97.79 crores. The total number of vaccine doses administered are around 174 crores.
- Whereas, the recovery rate is at 98.12%, highest since March 2020. These two positive sentences are an achievement in themselves.
- The government is trying their best to stop the widespread spread of the virus. From organising vaccination drives throughout the country to giving all the guidelines for proper management of the virus and its spread.
- The Centre and the States/UTs continue to make sustained and collaborative efforts as part of the trend of less than 50,000 daily new cases that is being reported for 113 consecutive days now.
- According to the latest reports, a total of 9,89,493 tests have been conducted. The testing capacity across the country expands to a total of over 59.19 crores.

With vaccinations, precautions and safety, we can definitely fight back this virus.
