Top epidemiologist Dr. Giridhar Babu quoted that, “Based on various mathematical models, the Omicron wave will last in India until the last week of January or early February. The next couple of weeks is pretty crucial for India”.
The department of clinical virology at the Institute of Live and Billary Sciences(ILBS), which has been conducting genome sequences for Covid -19 has found evidence of early community transmission of the variant in the capital.
