Ministry Of Health Tweeted That About 18 Lakh Vaccine Doses Administered In The Last 24 Hours

Covid-19 has become a big fight to win, with its life-threatening variants it is even more difficult to cope with everything around. It is a virus that affects the respiratory system the most and just spreads through the body very easily.

India is the second most populated country in the world, and hence the administration of vaccines can be a task for the government. Whereas, vaccines and precautions are the only ways to safeguard the entire world from the virus. The government is doing every bit to stop the widespread of Covid-19.

The Ministry of Health tweeted about the big achievement that has been made in the area of vaccination. The amount of vaccines that have been administered is worth looking at and can give everyone a sigh of relief.

Here Are Some Highlights:

  • More than 18.23 lakh vaccine doses were administered in the last 24 hours
  • Precaution doses for the identified categories f beneficiaries for Covid-19 vaccination have been administered so far.
  • 179.53 cr vaccine doses have been administered so far in the entire country.
  • India’s active caseload currently stands at 44,488.
  • Active cases stand at 0.10%.
  • The recovery rate is currently at 98.70%.
  • 4,184 new cases were reported in the last 24 hours.
  • The weekly positivity rate is presently at 0.58%.

The vaccination exercise as a tool to protect the most vulnerable population groups in the country from Covid-19 continues to be regularly reviewed and monitored at the highest level.

But people often believe that once the vaccination is fully completed, they can ignore the precautions as they are now ‘safe’ against the virus. This should not be the case. Research has already shown that vaccination does not mean you cannot be infected. It is just a preventive measure against the virus which is still not 100% effective. So, following all the precautions like always wearing a mask when stepping out of your house, washing/sanitizing hands regularly, maintaining social distance and avoiding crowded places.

Over To You:

The government is already doing its part by providing free vaccination everywhere possible, we just have to do our part by being fully vaccinated. It will not only make us immune to the virus but also make our country safe. Always wear a mask whether vaccinated or not and stay safe!
