Ministry of Health Tweeted That Daily Positivity Rate Stands At 0.58%

Covid-19 is a deadly virus that affects the respiratory system the most and spreads through the body very easily. The government of India took crucial steps to stop the spreading of the virus by making affected areas containment zones, quarantining people in their homes to reduce the burden from hospitals, and limiting the infection to a particular area itself. The pandemic may seem at ease for now, but the cases and the spread have not stopped.
The Ministry of Health tweeted about the daily positivity rate stands at 0.58% with the recovery rate at 98.75% and we can see that it is getting better, gradually. It may have decreased but has not ended, that is for sure.

- India’s Active caseload currently stands at 15,414
- The active cases stand at 0.04%
- The recovery rate is currently at 98.75%
- 2,167 recoveries in the last 24 hours increase Total Recoveries to 4,26,04,881
- 2,628 new cases were recorded in the last 24 hours
- The daily positivity rate stands at 0.58%.
- The weekly Positivity Rate stands at 0.51%.
- 84.84 cr Total Tests conducted so far; 4,52,580 tests conducted in the last 24 hours
- More than 193.53 Crore vaccine doses were provided to States/UTs
- More than 16 Crore balance and unutilized vaccine doses still available with States/UTs
Covid-19 is a fast-spreading infection, it can spread even by a little inhale or exhale. It is not something we can take lightly, seeing the recovery rate and caseload. The country is combatting the deadly virus and vaccination is one of the most crucial steps we must take, as it is helping us control the spread of Covid-19 infection. It is necessary that we still take the precautions and guidelines very seriously. Wearing masks, avoiding public gatherings or places, and preferring to work from home are some steps that can be taken to control the surge.
