The vaccination drive initiated on 16th January 2021 spread across almost everywhere in the country. The first dose of vaccine or the first vaccine drive was provided to the Frontline workers, army, and disaster management volunteers. After the completion of the second drive in March, India entered the third phase of the vaccination drive which will cover all the people above 45 years on 1st April. Till now, a total of 9 crore people are vaccinated and the third drive aims to cover around 250 million more people by the end of July.

People test positive even after getting the jab!

We have been waiting for the coronavirus vaccines for a long time to end the havoc of this pandemic. A lot of people believe that getting vaccination can save them from getting the virus and they are entirely safe. But this is not completely true! A lot of people are tested positive even after getting their vaccination doses and there could be various reasons for this. No vaccine guarantees 100% protection. Following safety protocols even after getting the vaccination is the key to keep yourself and your loved ones safe. Getting the vaccine is extremely important to reduce the rate of transmission.

Here are some reasons why people are testing positive even after getting the vaccination:

  • Not following the safety protocols such as wearing masks, hand sanitization and are not maintaining social distancing.
  • Not following the rules of post-vaccination as communicated by the doctors
  • Not getting the proper doses. (Some people are not taking their second doses on time)
  • A completely blocked immunity

Footnote

As per the experts, vaccination doesn’t guarantee the end of the virus. Vaccination keeps a tab on the dangerous effects of the virus, assisting in decreasing serious health complications while reducing the risk of transmission.
