Yasmin Karachiwala Is Crushing Hard With Her New Alphabet Workout

Yasmin Karachiwala is a bollywood fitness trainer who has trained a lot of bollywood celebrities like Katrina Kaif, Deepika Paducone, Alia Bhatt, and Kareena Kapoor. She is the first one to get BASI certified in pilates and establish the first pilates studio in Mumbai. She keeps her followers engaged by sharing new workouts on social media. Recently she shared her Alphabet Workout on instagram live.
Yasmin started this workout in the pandemic when everyone was working from home due to lockdown and gyms were not open. She explains how easy yet interesting this workout is. Anyone can do it at home with no equipment required, this is basically strength training. What she does in this intriguing workout series is that she has made a list of exercises for each alphabet. Then choses a phrase, like ‘YOU ARE AS YOUNG AS YOUR SPINE IS FLEXIBLE’, and you have to do the exercise allotted to that particular letter. You don’t have to take rest in between each exercise, but a 1 minute rest between each round. Supposedly in this phrase, the letter ‘Y’ comes first, so you have to do the exercise that is allotted to ‘Y’, which is 10 burpees. Then comes letter ‘O’, which is 20 skaters, and letter ‘U’ is 10 each spiderman climb. Same way, as the phrase goes, the exercises that represent that particular letter are to be done, with no rest in between.
She further instructs her followers on how to do every particular exercise in an hour long video and says this is fun and really impactful. The video includes warming and stretching too, so everyone can do it along with her. Anyone can choose a phrase and then go to Yasmin’s instagram handle where she has posted the list of alphabet workouts. Each alphabet represents an exercise, so without thinking much you would have your workout series ready by just quoting a simple phrase. From burpees and squats to reverse lunges and plank, Yasmin has everything curated in the list. Yasmin also shares a lot of videos with other celebrities, like Katrina Kaif, making the followers learn more about fitness and different types of workouts.
