Teej is one of the most auspicious Hindu festivals. On this day, women fast for their Husband’s good health and marital life. Women dress up beautifully in traditional attire, wear jewelry, and apply Heena. They meet in a group to perform puja and offer prayer to Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati, sing folk songs, and wait until moonrise to break the fast.
