On the other hand, lemon contains wide varieties of Vitamin C which is quite beneficial to enhance immunity. Start by boiling 1 cup water and some grated ginger together. Now, strain the concoction in a cup and mix some drops of lemon juice and honey in it.
  • Turmeric and black pepper tea: Turmeric is known as the golden spice and its consumption can easily make you all hale and hearty. This spice contains anti-bacterial and anti-inflammatory properties and is easily available at every household. Turmeric is a magical spice that can enhance your immunity while saving you from monsoon related health woes. Start by boiling 1 cup of water, ½ teaspoon turmeric powder and a pinch of black pepper together. Once done strain and sip.
  • Garlic and honey tea: Garlic and honey together might not look tempting but it can enhance your immunity like no other. Garlic and honey can easily decrease hypertension and bad cholesterol levels while combating cold and flu and various digestive issues. To make this tonic, boil 1 cup of water and 4-5 crushed garlic together. Once done, strain into a cup and add ½ teaspoon of honey in it.
  • Cinnamon and honey tea: Cinnamon has recently gained much attention due to its amazing health benefits. From digestive issues to high cholesterol levels to strengthen the immune system- cinnamon concoction can do wonders on your overall health. To make this concoction, boil 1 cup of water with a half teaspoon of cinnamon powder or 4-5 cinnamon sticks. Once done, strain and add some honey in it. Sip and enjoy!
  • Cardamom, cinnamon and clove tea: Cardamom, cinnamon and cloves are all wonderful ingredients to consume during monsoon and helps in keeping you warm and snug during monsoon.
