There are a lot of face masks available all around us, in different forms like sheet masks, clay masks, and splash masks, but one of the most effective and successful masks now are DIY masks, since they are a cheaper and a much easier form of masks that don’t need a huge burn in the pocket or time-consuming. There are masks for every type and you can easily pick your best pick and use naturally effective masks. Most of these masks are made from fruits or vegetables which are loaded with nutrition and minerals and are a correct choice for the skin. Most of these are dermatologist-approved and show effective results after every use. For example, products like yogurt are a great exfoliating agent whereas honey is brilliant at bursting spots causing bacteria and cacao powder is known to be a great skin booster.
Here are some easily made face masks for different purposes and skin types-
- DIY Mask for Hydration with Avocado
- Uneven Skin Tone and Texture
- For Glow
- Nourishing and Hydrating Honey Mask
- For gentle skin, Banana
A flaky skin condition can also be bad to look at, and if your moisturizer is not of much use, you’ll need a good nourishing mask to treat the dry skin. For this mask you need avocado, honey, and a handful of oats, honey is a great agent that helps retain skin moisture and helps with the healing and regeneration of tissues.
To achieve that supple and smooth skin, you need three ingredients namely yogurt, honey, and turmeric powder. Yogurt is known to remove the roughness of the skin and make the skin shinier and brighter. As we already know honey is great for moisture, whereas turmeric is good for removing pigmentation.
Having a dull, and luster-less complexion can be a bummer, especially if you have sensitive skin, therefore all you need is a tablespoon of cacao powder, papaya, and aloe vera gel. Aloe vera is known to consist of vitamins A, C B1-3, E, B-6, and B-12, giving it properties like radiance-boosting, skin-soothing, and hydration. Papaya is known to get rid of dead skin cells, due to its exfoliating enzymes and cacao powder which brightens the skin.
Honey is a natural antibacterial and is rich in Vitamin-B helping it calm the skin barrier down which helps in protection from Acne. For this mask, you need to brew chamomile tea and cool it down and stir it with manuka or raw honey and a teaspoon of nutritional yeast. Create a thick paste, apply it for twenty minutes for good nourishment.
Banana is known to give you a natural glow and is good for all skin types, mix it with honey and orange juice for effective results.
