It is a known fact that India is a place of cultural diversity and a land of festivals. It is also known that this very land was under British rule for quite a long period. The country had to fight for its independence which encountered numerous sacrifices. However, even after being established in India, the natives fought their way to independence and formulated our constitution. The Republic day honors the date on which the Constitution of India came into effect on 26 January 1950 replacing the Government of India Act as the governing document of India and thus, turning the nation into a newly formed republic.
Past, present, and future.
India is indeed a land of cultural diversity, from North to South and from East to west we witness so many different cultures, religions, and festivals which we can’t even count on our hands. This is one of the specialties of the Indian Constitution, allowing every individual to follow and/or practice their own beliefs in any likings they find suitable. This is indeed a great way to ensure peace among different cultures because not only does it satisfy one’s wish of pursuing a culture of choice, but it also ensures diversity, which is one of the main features of this country. People from all around the works admire India for its transitions from captive past to independent present, the struggle we went thought to gain independence is worth everything we have today we owe it to the freedom fighters and brave soldiers who sacrificed their lives for us and the Nobel politicians who helped to shape the nation and gives it its constitution and thus declaring independent nation as of 26th January.
The same country which was held captive and restrained from development in the past is now progressing and developing at an alarming rate, with multiple multinational companies eager to invest in the country the future looks bright and every native admires the nation for its versatility which will in turn also contribute to the overall development of the county. The people of India work to make it an even better place and this spirit is the recipe to greatness. The constant struggle to be better as a nation is something to be proud of and we owe to the ever so generous constitution and unity of the nation.
