Anjeer Milk

Anjeer Milk is a soothing and nutritious drink that blends the rich, sweet flavor of dried figs with warm milk. Infused with cardamom and saffron, it offers a comforting, aromatic beverage that’s perfect for relaxation.
For a Serving Size of Two:
Ingredients:
- 8-10 chopped dried figs
- 500 ml milk
- 1 teaspoon honey
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cardamom
- A pinch of saffron strands
Procedure:
- Place the chopped figs in a bowl and cover them with warm water. Let them soak for about 15-20 minutes to soften. Drain the water.
- In a blender, combine the soaked figs with 100 ml of the milk. Blend until smooth.
- In a saucepan, heat the remaining milk over medium heat until it starts to simmer.
- Add the fig mixture to the simmering milk. Stir well.
- Cook for 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the mixture is heated through and the figs have blended well with the milk.
- Stir in honey and ground cardamom. Add saffron if desired. Pour the anjeer milk into cups and serve warm.
