The Apple Orange Salad is a refreshing and vibrant dish that combines the crisp sweetness of apples with the zesty tang of oranges. Ingredients:
- 200 grams apples, cored and diced
- 200 grams oranges, peeled and segmented
- 30 grams roughly chopped walnuts
- 30 grams crumbled feta cheese
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon olive oil
- 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon powder
- Fresh mint leaves for garnish
- Salt and pepper, to taste
Procedure:
- In a large bowl, combine the diced apples and orange segments.
- In a small bowl, whisk lemon juice, olive oil, cinnamon powder, and a pinch of salt and pepper.
- Drizzle the dressing over the apple and orange mixture and toss gently to coat all the pieces evenly.
- Gently fold in the chopped walnuts and crumbled feta cheese, if using.
