Banana Bread

This Healthy Banana Bread is a moist and delicious treat that makes the most of ripe bananas for natural sweetness. With a blend of whole wheat and almond flours, it offers a hearty texture while keeping the recipe nutritious. For a Serving Size of One Loaf:
Ingredients:
- 200 grams ripe mashed bananas
- 100 grams whole wheat flour
- 50 grams almond flour
- 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 2 tablespoons milk
- 1 tablespoon melted coconut oil
- 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 15 grams chopped walnuts
- 15 grams chopped dates
Procedure:
- Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F) and grease a small loaf pan or line it with parchment paper.
- In a mixing bowl, mash the ripe bananas until smooth. Add almond milk, melted coconut oil, and vanilla extract, and mix until well combined.
- In another bowl, whisk together whole wheat flour, almond flour, baking soda, baking powder, cinnamon powder, and salt.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, stirring gently until just combined. Do not overmix. If desired, fold in chopped walnuts and chopped dates.
- Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Let the banana bread cool in the pan for about 10 minutes, then transfer it to a wire rack to cool completely before slicing.
