The Banana Chickoo Smoothie is a creamy and nutritious blend of ripe banana and chickoos, enriched with Greek yogurt and chia seeds. This smoothie offers a delightful combination of sweetness and subtle spice from cinnamon, making it a refreshing and satisfying drink.
For a Serving Size of Two:
Ingredients:
- 1 ripe banana
- 2 ripe chickoos
- 120 grams Greek yogurt
- 120 ml milk
- 1 tablespoon chia seeds
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- A pinch of cinnamon
- Ice cubes
Procedure:
- Peel and chop the banana into chunks.
- Peel, pit, and chop the chickoos into pieces. In a blender, combine the banana, chickoos, Greek yogurt, almond milk, and chia seeds.
- Blend until smooth and creamy. Add a pinch of cinnamon and vanilla extract if desired.
- If the smoothie is too thick, add a little more almond milk. For a chilled smoothie, add a few ice cubes and blend again until smooth.
- Pour the smoothie into glasses and serve immediately.
