Turmeric Tea

For a Serving Size of Two:
Ingredients:
- 2 cups water
- 1 teaspoon turmeric powder (or 1-inch fresh turmeric root, grated)
- 1/2 teaspoon grated ginger
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice
Procedure:
- In a saucepan, bring 2 cups of water to a boil.
- Add turmeric powder (or grated turmeric root), grated ginger, and black pepper to the boiling water. Simmer for 5-7 minutes.
- Strain the tea into cups to remove the turmeric and ginger pieces.
- Stir in lemon juice. Enjoy the tea warm for its soothing and anti-inflammatory benefits.
