Tomato and Avocado Bruschetta

For a Serving Size of Two:

Ingredients:

  • 4 slices (80 grams) of whole wheat bread
  • 100 grams tomatoes, diced
  • 200 grams  avocados, diced
  • 70 grams red onion, finely chopped
  • 2 tablespoons fresh basil leaves, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon extra-virgin olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Procedure:

  1. Toast the slices of whole wheat bread until crispy.
  2. In a bowl, combine the diced tomatoes, avocado, red onion, basil leaves, balsamic vinegar, and olive oil. Mix well.
  3. Season the mixture with salt and pepper according to your taste.
  4. Spoon the tomato and avocado mixture onto the toasted bread slices.
  5. Serve immediately and enjoy!
