Broccoli-Based Dip

This creamy Broccoli-Based Dip combines the rich flavors of steamed broccoli with tangy yogurt and a hint of garlic. The almonds add a subtle nutty taste, and the roasted cumin gives it an earthy finish, making it a delightful and nutritious addition to snacks or meals.
For a Serving Size of Two:
Ingredients:
- 100 grams broccoli florets
- 100 grams Greek yogurt (or hung curd)
- 10 grams soaked and peeled almonds
- 1 minced garlic clove
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper powder
- 1/4 teaspoon roasted cumin powder
- Salt to taste
- 1/2 teaspoon olive oil
- Finely chopped basil
Procedure:
- Steam the broccoli florets until they are soft, about 4-5 minutes. Allow them to cool slightly.
- In a blender, add the steamed broccoli, Greek yogurt, soaked almonds, minced garlic, black pepper powder, roasted cumin powder, salt, and olive oil. Blend until smooth and creamy.
- Taste the dip and adjust the salt and pepper if needed.
- Pour the dip into a serving bowl and garnish with fresh basil. Serve chilled or at room temperature with vegetable sticks, crackers, or as a spread.
