Chia Seeds Lemon Drink is a refreshing, tangy beverage that combines the zesty flavor of lemon with the unique texture of chia seeds. This drink is perfect for hydrating on a hot day and can be enjoyed at any time.
For a Serving Size of Two:
Ingredients:
- 2 tablespoons chia seeds
- 500 ml water
- 4 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- Ice cubes
- Lemon slices and mint leaves for garnish
Procedure:
- In a bowl, mix the chia seeds with 1 cup of water and let them soak for about 30 minutes, or until they form a gel-like consistency.
- In a pitcher, combine the remaining water, fresh lemon juice, and sweetener. Stir well until the sweetener is fully dissolved.
- Add the soaked chia seeds along with the gel to the lemonade mixture. Stir until well combined.
- If desired, add a pinch of salt to enhance the flavors.
- Fill glasses with ice cubes and pour the chia lemon drink over the ice. Garnish with lemon slices and mint leaves if desired.
- Serve chilled and enjoy this refreshing drink!
