The Cocoa Walnut Pudding Bowl is a rich and indulgent treat that balances the bitterness of cocoa with the crunch of walnuts and the creaminess of oats. This pudding is a perfect dessert or breakfast option, offering a satisfying chocolate fix while being packed with nutrients. For a Serving Size of Two:
Ingredients:
- 2 tablespoons cocoa powder (unsweetened)
- 60 grams rolled oats
- 200 ml milk
- 20 grams chopped walnuts
- 1 tablespoon chia seeds
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- A pinch of salt
- 10-15 grams dark chocolate
Procedure:
- In a medium saucepan, combine the rolled oats, almond milk, cocoa powder, and a pinch of salt. Stir well to mix the cocoa powder evenly.
- Place the saucepan over medium heat and cook, stirring frequently, until the mixture thickens to a pudding-like consistency. This should take about 5-7 minutes.
- Once the oats have thickened, remove the saucepan from the heat and stir in the chia seeds and chopped walnuts. If using, add the vanilla extract for extra flavor.
- Divide the pudding into two bowls.
- You can enjoy the pudding warm, or chill it in the refrigerator for 20-30 minutes if you prefer a cold dessert.
