Cucumber Hung Curd

Cucumber dip is very refreshing and a great dressing option. It is prepared with fresh cucumber and hung curd and is made within minutes. Serve this delightful dressing with salads or snacks and enjoy the freshness.

Cucumber is refreshing, high in water content, and offers a wide range of health benefits by preventing dehydration, obesity, and diabetes. Yogurt is good for gut health. Yogurt is a good source of protein, calcium, and good live bacteria and is good for weight management and the immune system.
Ingredients:
- 40 grams cucumber
- 1-2 green chili
- 20 grams onion
- 30 grams yogurt
- 1 tablespoon chives
- Salt and pepper as per taste

Method:
- Start by lining a strainer with the muslin cloth. Place a bowl beneath it.
- Add curd, and let the whey pass through the muslin cloth and strainer. It will take about 30-45 minutes.
- Squeeze out the whey a bit by using your hands. Now place the entire set-up in the refrigerator for 4 to 5hours.
- Your hung curd is ready.
- On the other side, peel and chop the cucumber, onions, green chilies, and chives and add them to a bowl.
- Whenever you’d like to use it, take hung curd out of the refrigerator, add chopped ingredients, salt, and pepper to it, mix well and it is good to use.
