Chia Pudding

This Chia Pudding is a creamy and nutritious dessert or breakfast option. The chia seeds are combined with almond milk and vanilla extract to create a pudding-like texture after chilling. Topped with fresh sliced bananas and a sprinkle of chopped nuts, it offers a delightful mix of flavors and textures. The pudding is simple to prepare and perfect for meal prep.
For a Serving Size of Two:
Ingredients:
- 30 grams chia seeds
- 240 ml almond milk
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- A pinch of salt
- 1 sliced medium banana
- 1 tablespoon chopped nuts (almonds or walnuts or pistachios)
Procedure:
- In a bowl, mix the chia seeds, almond milk, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt. Stir well to combine.
- Cover the bowl and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight. The chia seeds will absorb the liquid and create a pudding-like texture.
- After chilling, give the pudding a good stir. If it’s too thick, you can add a little more almond milk to reach your desired consistency.
- Top with fresh sliced bananas or nuts and serve!
