Flaxseeds Dry Chutney

Flaxseeds Dry Chutney is a flavorful, spicy, and nutritious condiment that adds a delicious crunch to your meal. Made with roasted flaxseeds, coconut, and spices, it is versatile and pairs well with a variety of Indian dishes.
For a Serving Size of Two:
Ingredients:
- 50 grams flaxseeds
- 20 grams dry grated coconut
- 10 grams sesame seeds
- 5 grams roasted peanuts
- 1 small garlic clove, finely chopped
- 1 teaspoon red chili powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/8 teaspoon cumin powder
Procedure:
- In a pan, dry roast flaxseeds over medium heat for 2-3 minutes until they start to pop slightly. Set aside to cool.
- In the same pan, lightly toast grated coconut, sesame seeds, and garlic until aromatic. Allow to cool.
- Add all ingredients (flaxseeds, toasted mixture, peanuts, chili powder, salt, and cumin powder) to a grinder and pulse until coarsely ground.
- Transfer the chutney powder to an airtight container and store. Serve as a dry chutney with meals, dosa, or chapati.
