For a Serving Size of Two:

Ingredients:

  • 100 grams whole wheat flour
  • 100 grams plain yoghurt
  • 2 teaspoons olive oil
  • 2-3 minced garlic cloves
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried basil
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • Water

Procedure:

  • Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F) and lightly grease a baking pan.
  • In a bowl, mix the whole wheat flour, salt, and optional dried herbs.
  • In a separate bowl, combine the yogurt and olive oil. Gradually mix the yogurt mixture into the flour mixture, stirring until a dough forms. Add water a tablespoon at a time if the dough is too dry.
  • Fold in the minced garlic until evenly distributed in the dough.
  • Transfer the dough to the prepared baking pan and smooth the top.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the bread is golden brown and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  • Let the bread cool in the pan for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
