Ginger – Peppermint Drink

The Ginger Peppermint Drink is a refreshing and soothing beverage that combines the spicy warmth of ginger with the cool, invigorating flavor of fresh peppermint. This simple, yet flavorful drink is perfect for a calming tea experience, offering a balance of heat and freshness that can be enjoyed any time of the day.

For a Serving Size of Two:

Ingredients:

  • 1 tablespoon finely chopped fresh ginger
  • 1 tablespoon fresh peppermint leaves
  • 500 ml water

Procedure:

  1. Bring 500 ml of water to a boil in a saucepan.
  2. Add the finely chopped ginger to the boiling water. Let it simmer for about 5-7 minutes to extract the ginger’s flavour.
  3. Add the fresh peppermint leaves to the saucepan. Continue to simmer for another 3-5 minutes.
  4. Strain the mixture into cups to remove the ginger and peppermint leaves.
  5. Serve the drink warm.
